Vacuum De-Hydration
Dehydration by means of squeezing units leaves a relatively high level of water in the fabric, which results in unnecessary-high drying costs.
SCOUT VACUUM can provide a very efficient dehydration of synthetic-based fabrics, such as PA, PES, as well as blends with cellulosic fibers.
Dehydration by vacuum leads to a very low residual moisture content before the stenter, and enables to save 20-50% of drying costs. The pay-back time for a vacuum system can therefore be extremely short.
SCOUT VACUUM units are available in different configurations, suitable for woven and knitted fabrics. For knitted fabrics, special attention is given to selvedge uncurling and low tension and can be installed in several locations at the tenter frame entry.
