Decoup+
Decoup+, based in Roche-la-Molière France, is a sister division of our partner, Spoolex.
Since first launched in 1975, Decoup+ has been providing technical solutions to fabric manufacturers and convertors with ultrasonic cutting and welding equipment.
Ultrasonic technology can be used on thermo-fusible products such has polyester, acrylic, polypropylene and blended fabrics and is used for example in Airbags, Carpet backing, Sun protection, Tarpaulins, Agriculture textile, Geotextile, Saling cloth…
Ultrasonic cutting on products comprised of synthetic fibers, provides a clean cut and a sealed edge, without fraying, burning, yellowing or thick edges
Ultrasonic welding is also a quick and easy process, avoiding the use of adhesive components such as glue, rivets, or staples. It also presents the same advantages as ultrasonic cutting and allows to keep the fabric’s original properties.
This technology is safe for the operator and the environment, without smoke, noise or smells!
Each installation is customizable for a range of fabrics based on fabric construction, basis weight and desired processing speeds. Decoup+ has a testing facility in France for product evaluations and trials on customer’s products.
