In-Line with Fi-Tech – Spring 2026
Welcome to the spring 2026 issue of In-Line with Fi-Tech! 2025 was a tough year navigating a lot of challenges outside the walls of Fi-Tech like a strengthening euro,
tariffs, and market uncertainty. We are looking forward to a calmer year and a brighter outlook for the markets we serve.
We will have some opportunities this spring to gauge our customers’ outlook for the coming year with a variety of industry events. In the Textiles Market, Fi-Tech will be participating at the NCTO Annual Meeting in Washington DC, April 14-16, as well as the Southern Textiles Spring Meetings in Greenville (March 18) and Greensboro (April 8).
We will be heading to Europe in April and May for two important exhibitions. Later in April, Fi-Tech will have representatives attending the TechTextil Show in Frankfurt. This biennial show highlights the supply chain for the Technical Textile Industry. Fi-Tech will have a number of principals across the Textile, Fibers and Nonwovens Industries exhibiting. In May, Fi-Tech will be sending representatives to the important INDEX Show in Geneva which focuses on the supply chain for the Nonwovens Industry. And, at the end of June, Fi-Tech will be exhibiting at the World of Wipes Conference in Nashville.
Also, in this issue of our newsletter, we will provide updates on the Spoolex/Decoup+ and Enka Tecnica product lines. Decoup manufactures Ultrasonic Cutting and Welding equipment to cut and weld thermo-fusible fabrics such as Airbags, Carpet Backing, Sun Protection, Tarpaulins, Geotextiles, etc. We will also report on updates and new developments at the two Enka Tecnica manufacturing locations in Germany.
