In this issue, we have updates on numerous developments
from our principals announced and promoted at the recent
ITMA 2023 in Milan, Italy. We also are pleased to announce
our new relationship with ProJet B.V. based in The
Netherlands as well as Futura Converting in Luca, Italy.
We have a busy spring and summer ahead for exhibitions and shows and have highlighted some of these events in this newsletter. Some of the events that Fi-Tech and its sales team will be participating include the INDEX™23 Show in Geneva April 18-21, the Techtextil North America Show in Atlanta, GA May 10-12, and the ITMA 23 Exhibition in Milan, Italy June 8-14.
Baldwin Technology Partners With Fi-Tech to Represent Its Textile and Nonwoven Finishing Technologies in North America. To ensure exceptional service amid growing demand for sustainable solutions, FiTech Inc. will represent Baldwin Technology Co. Inc.’s complete textile and nonwoven product lines as its sales agent in the U.S. and Canada. The new partnership is effective immediately.
It has been a busy year thus far, to include numerous in person events thus far. The action will not slow down in the coming months with key upcoming events such as RISE 2022 in Raleigh, World Filtration Conference in San Diego, K 2022 in Düsseldorf, and Hygienix in New Orleans.
Fi-Tech’s 50th Anniversary Celebration took place on Saturday, February 26, at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond. Celebrating together with our Fi-Tech Richmond based employees and spouses were: retirees and spouses, key employees and spouses from our Mexico and UK operations as well as our Fi-Tech Board Members and spouses. It was quite an evening to reflect on the first 50 years with those representing our past, present and future.
At this time last year, I believe we all would have expected to have gone back to life as it was before the pandemic of 2020. That has simply not been the case, and most likely, will not be for some time to come. However, we are and will continue to learn and to adapt to our “new normal”.
While it is nice to have 2020 in our rear view mirror, we all still face a lot of challenges regarding COVID and distribution of the vaccine. Here, at Fi-Tech, we have been working in teams to limit time in the office for our employees in order to maintain social distancing, while maintaining 100% of our customer service level and 100% of our shipping capability.
Here, at Fi-Tech, we are very proud of our team, and the way we were able to adapt work schedules and methods in order to continue providing the products and services our customers expect without missing a beat.
We have a lot of news to share with you in this issue regarding upcoming events, new principals, and product updates. Fi-Tech will have a busy start to the year as we will be participating in several upcoming trade shows and conferences.
It has been an extremely busy year thus far from an exhibition perspective with IDEA2019, TechTextil Frankfurt and ITMA in Barcelona all before the end of June. It has been great to have had these shows to meet with both our customers as well as our principals.
