Tokuden
Tokuden has been a leader in the design and fabrication of induction heated rolls since they built the world’s first induction heated roll in 1964. Induction heating, together with Tokuden’s “Jacket Roll®” technology has made Tokuden the technological leader in precision heated rolls. Their ultra-high precision thermal processing technology allows control of surface temperatures to 0.5°C.
Tokuden rolls can be used for a variety of purposes requiring precise temperature control. These include, but are not limited to synthetic fibers including BCF fibers, carbon fibers and spandex. They are also useful for laminating applications where precise temperature control is critical when combining critical substrates together.

Tokuden also produces Super-Heated Steam Systems. Their W Series unit generates superheated steam using the heat created by electric current passing through the coiled conductor tubes. Water is pre-heated in the primary wound conductor tube and converted into saturated steam and then to superheated steam while traveling in the secondary wound conductor tube.
- The W Series can generate superheated steam at a maximum temperature of 700°C.
- Thermal efficiency as high as 95% reduces running costs.
- Precise steam temperature control accurate to within 1°C is possible.
- Superheated steam is generated using only electricity and water, keeping the operational environment clean.
- The W Series is equipped with casters, enabling flexible and simple installation.
