In-Line with Fi-Tech – Spring 2016
Todd Bassett
It will be all hands on deck for Fi-Tech Sales Personnel during the first week of May, as Fi-Tech participates in two important trade shows for the North American Market. First, Fi-Tech and its principals working in the Nonwovens Industry will be in Boston, May 2-5, for the IDEA16 Exhibition and Conference organized by INDA. This important show for the Nonwovens Industry is held every 3 years and draws more than 400 exhibitors and 7,000 attendees from 70 countries.
Parallel to the IDEA Show, Fi-Tech will have representatives in Atlanta for the Techtextil North America Show, May 3-5. This exhibition and conference serves the Technical Textile and Synthetic Fiber Industries.
As we mentioned in our fall newsletter, Fi-Tech has revamped its website (www.fi-tech.com) to provide a fresher look with more information on the products and services we offer through our impressive group of principals. Although the website will continue to be a work in progress, considerable effort has been put forth by those Fi-Tech employees who volunteered their time and talent to create, organize, proof and input the voluminous amount of data. They also had valuable input in the layout and design. This was no small task and will be ongoing as we complete this first phase and continue to update, revise, and maintain the website going forward. I would like to acknowledge and thank Traci Hubbard, Vicky Gant Wilson, Greg Waterman and Brian Williamson for their efforts to make the new website a reality!
Construction is proceeding on Fi-Tech’s new 17,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse space. Although poor weather has slowed construction somewhat since the beginning of the year, we still anticipate moving into our new space by August.
